How do I get started?

Initially, a brief phone meeting will be held to overview your pet/s needs. We will then schedule an appointment and become more acquainted with you and your pet/s.  We will get detailed instructions about watching over your pet/s, get keys, and pick up security information. This additionally gives you a chance to become more acquainted with us, and also an opportunity to feel great about us watching over your pet/s and your home while you are away. At that time, you may also ask for any additional services. This visit usually lasts around 30min to an hour.

Do you always visit on the time we ask for?

We will ask for a time frame that you would like us to arrive. We then book your visits within three hours of your requested time and will arrive during those times.

Do I contact you when I’ve returned home?

Very important that you contact us when you arrive home from your trip. This ensures the health and safety of your pet/s in case you have been unexpectedly delayed. If we do not hear from you, we will continue with the visits as agreed.

How much notice is needed for scheduling?

We understand emergencies may occur and will make every effort to accommodate last-minute requests. If you are an existing client and we have your key in our safe, we can almost always accommodate. However, for your convenience and ours, please make reservations as early as possible, especially for holidays.

Are you available on holidays?

Yes. However, there is a $10.00 surcharge for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

May I book my visits through my pet care expert?

No. All visits should be booked through our office by calling 203-613-8744 or you may also email your request at

Can I be assured of the same pet care expert each time?

Your pet will have the pleasure of not just enjoying the company of one, but two of our pet care experts. We can assure you that your pet will have the same two pet care experts each time you book a visit. We will also notify you of who will be caring for your pet each time. Two pet care experts are better than one and make for excellent coverage should one be unavailable.

Last minute trip but don’t have time for the meet and greet consultation. Can you take care of my pet anyway?

Unfortunately, Not. For the safety of your pet and our pet care experts, we must provide the meet and greet consultation. However, we will try our best to accommodate your pet.

What pets do you care for?

At this time, we offer care for cats, dogs, birds, rodents and reptiles.

How do I pay for service?

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. Any insufficient funds/returned checks will be subject to a $35 returned check fee.

Does my pet need to be vaccinated before you provide any service for him/her?

Yes. Cats and dogs need to be up to date on rabies and flea and tick preventative. This is to protect our pet care experts, other persons, and other pets that they may come in contact with. We will ask your permission to retrieve records from your veterinarian’s office should you not have a copy to provide.

Is your company bonded & insured?

Yes, we are!!!  This is a requirement for our company. Even though we provide a great level of safety with our client’s pets and homes we prefer to be bonded & insured, and provide our clients with a piece of mind. We will provide a copy of this information upon request.
